Where this all started…

Chef and Owner Mike Pietrafeso

Born and raised in Greenwich, CT, Mike Pietrafeso graduated from The French Culinary Institute in 2006, and has gained extensive restaurant and catering experience throughout Fairfield County, including Napa & Co. and Bar Rosso in Stamford, CT; Le Farm in Westport, CT; and private residences in Pound Ridge, NY and Westport, CT.

Mike’s first solo venture, Ada’s Kitchen + Coffee (opened February 2016) won him many accolades, including winning “Best Breakfast” in Greenwich for Best of the Gold Coast (2017- 2019). He has since opened his two Roost locations in Darien and Greenwich.

He was also selected as one of the “Most Innovative Chefs of 2017” for the 2017 Greenwich Wine + Food Festival by Serendipity Magazine.

Mike’s wealth of knowledge and experience, combined with his desire to support local farms and communities, is a perfect combination for creating delicious scratch-made food for everyone to enjoy.

Mike lives in Greenwich with his wife, Krista and his three young daughters, Ella, Josie, and Clara.
